Overview & Location

The 57 room resort, restaurant and spa set in the rural highlands of Dalat, Vietnam comprises seventeen fully restored French colonial villas each originally constructed between the 1920's and 1930's. The villas retain the unique personalities of their original owners while being lovingly restored to their former glory, with all care taken to preserve original design, décor and charm.

Set in the Central Vietnam highland city of Dalat, the region was popularised by French occupation at the turn of the 20th century. Alexandre Yersin, a contemporary of the famed Louis Pasteur discovered and pioneered the location that is now known as Dalat in approximately 1897. With the cool European climate (the area sits at an altitude of 1500 metres above sea level) and the rolling mountainous, pine treed terrain, Dalat became the summer hill-station retreat for royalty and high society.

Sited on approximately 35 acres of suburban parkland that forms its own unique compound, the area Ana Mandara Villas Dalat occupies was originally known as the 'Bellevue Quarter', a nod to the rich French influence. Striking views of the surrounding town, countryside and flourishing vegetable fields abound from all areas of the gently sloping hillside property.

Of the seventeen villas on site, fifteen have been converted into fully serviced hotel accommodations with the remaining two villas being converted into our Restaurant and Six Senses Spa, respectively

There are 57 rooms available in this luxury villas, spread between fifteen individual, original French colonial villas.

Each villa comprises between three and five ensuited rooms includes Lounge area and open fireplace, Dining room, Bar & modest wine cellar, Library, Outdoor terrace and sitting area and also Kitchen and pantry area.

Villa Room: Villa Rooms are 27 sqm, fitted with a king size bed or 2 single beds. Bathrooms have a traditional claw foot bathtub or shower. Bathroom types are subject to request and cannot be guaranteed. All room equipped with all comforts to ensure you a relaxation and pleasant stay.

Villa Studios: Villa Studios are 39 sqm, have a fireplace and either have a private or shared terrace. They are fitted with a king size bed or 2 single beds. Bathrooms have a traditional claw foot bathtub or shower. Bathroom and terrace types are subject to request and cannot be guaranteed.

Villa Suites: Villa Suites are 51 sqm, have an original open fireplace and separate lounge or terrace. They are fitted with a king size bed or 2 single beds. Bathrooms have a traditional claw foot bathtub or shower. Bathroom and terrace types are subject to request and cannot be guaranteed.

The Bellevue Suite: The Bellevue Suite are 70.5 sq.m. plus 50 sq.m of balcony. A luxuriously appointed suite, boasting the largest private balcony on the property. Conveniently located to the nearby Six Senses Spa at 14 Le Lai Street, as well as Nine, our signature restaurant. 270 degree vies abound from this stunning suite.

Spa Villa Suite: Spa Villa Suite are 62 sq.m. A unique glasshouse covered terrace, treatment and separate steam room plus private lounge area and bedroom. The rooms are large in size and well equipped with sanitary fitting to ensure you a pleasant stay.

The Spa Villa: The Spa Villa are 98.5 sq.m. A complete Villa at 18 Le Lai Street, which also includes a treatment & steam room, making it the perfect combination of luxury and privacy. Outdoors, a private hot tub and full barbeque facilities complete a stunning setting.

THE RESTAURANT AND BAR

Villa Dining : In Villa Dining is by prior arrangement - either as a formal set dinner, or a more relaxed open barbeque are both unique features of our service. As each villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen, your host can easily arrange romantic candlelit dinners in the villa dining room or on your own private balcony.

Barbeques : Group Barbeques or dinners also provide an alternative dining experience, particularly if travelling with friends, or getting away for a small group meeting with the top executives.

Bar : The traditional Mini Bar has been turned on its head at Evason Ana Mandara Villas Dalat. Each villa kitchen and lounge area is fully equipped with a large at your fingertips selection of food and beverages.

Nine is the signature restaurant. Best described as 'fine dining with the top button undone' the restaurant serves modern European inspired cuisine, a stellar wine list and professional service within a heritage setting. There are daily specials and also a Degustation menu is frequently offered. A private dining room for up to 10 guests is also available.

Wine Bar at nine: is a classic take on a European 'hole in the wall' wine bar. Located above nine, this small intimate space serves a new world tapas menu and a great selection of wine by the glass.

Six Senses Spa: A luxuriously appointed facility, set within and at 14 Le Lai Street, Six Senses Spa consists of five treatment rooms and has extraordinary views across Dalat country life; is a truly unique holistic experience.
